Whether or not you're at the space during your cleaning appointment is up to you! When you make a booking, you'll be prompted to give us entry instructions. If you have a doorman or can hide a key somewhere, there's no need for you to be home. Or, feel free to stick around during the clean (but please follow social distancing guidelines). Whatever you're most comfortable with is fine.

In any case, please don't forget about your appointments. We'll remind you with an email or text message, but if the cleaner can't get in the door by following your entry instructions, or if you aren't home when you said you would be, you'll be charged a lock-out fee.

Yes, PerfectionCleaning NYC is insured and bonded. We understand the trust you give us to be in your home, and we are always careful. In the unlikely event that an object is damaged, please notify us within 48 hours of when the appointment is completed either by email or by phone.

We love animals, but they don't always love us. If you think your pet may become overly anxious while we are there, please make temporary arrangements while we are in your home. We will ask about pets during the online booking process.

We bring our own supplies and all the equipment needed to clean your apartment, including EPA-registered disinfectants, vacuum cleaner, and wet/dry mop. That said, there are a few specialty items we don't carry:

If you'd like us to use any of these specialty products, just leave them out in plain view with instructions. We're happy to use your preferred products when available.

No problem! Our cleaners bring a travel wet/dry mop that will be used on non-carpeted areas, and we bring our own vacuum cleaner to properly clean any carpeted areas. You don't need to provide any equipment.

We are currently not accepting any post-construction/renovation requests. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

Absolutely! When booking your appointment online, you'll have the opportunity to leave any notes or special instructions for our team. We do our best to accommodate all requests—if anything needs clarification or falls outside our scope, we'll be in touch to discuss next steps.

If you're not satisfied with your clean, you can request a free reclean. Reach out within 48 hours of your original appointment by email at hello@perfectioncleaningnyc.com or call/text us at (917) 396-5820. Your reclean must be scheduled and completed within 72 hours of your request.
